    Juliette Vitaloni is Director of the Economic Analysis department at Federchimica, the Italian association of chemical industry. 
    Her main activities include outlining short term economic scenarios for companies as well as analysing medium term challenges and key drivers of competitiveness for the chemical industry. She also provides daily counsel on economic topics and on industrial policy for advocacy purposes. Moreover she represents the reference expert for the economics aspects of the National Collective Agreement of the chemical sector in Italy.

    Inès has been working in the field of trade defence and commercial policy issues for more than thirty years, both in the private sector (EUROMETAUX, EUROALLIAGES, CASI Institute) and in the European Commission Directorate General for Trade, as Head of Sector leading the Complaints Office (Anti-Dumping Service).

    Inès, a dual Belgian/Argentinian national, holds a Master’s in Law from the University of Louvain.

    Sylvie Lemoine is a distinguished professional with a robust background in EU regulatory affairs spanning over fifteen years, both in EU trade associations and in
    chemical companies. As the Executive Director of Product Stewardship at Cefic since 2019, she has been instrumental in driving initiatives on the EU Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability.
    Transitioning her expertise, Sylvie now champions Industrial Policy within the organisation since 2024.

    Alongside her work within Cefic, Sylvie is actively engaged with the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA), contributing her regulatory and strategic expertise to global discussions on chemical management, and sustainable industry transformation.

    Prior to her tenure at Cefic, Sylvie held a pivotal role as the Director for Technical and Regulatory Affairs at A.I.S.E., the International Association for Soaps, Detergents, and Maintenance products, after which she joined Dow Government Affairs in 2016.

    Sylvie Lemoine holds a chemical engineering degree complemented with a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the esteemed Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France. She commenced her professional career at ExxonMobil Chemical, gaining experience across R&D and market development departments based in Brussels.

    Thomas LE VAILLANT has been working as Deputy Head of Unit at the European Commission's Directorate General for TRADE/E3 since 2017. Its mission is to provide the negotiating input for negotiations on tariff and non-tariff barriers for industrial goods, in the WTO and in bilateral trade agreements with third countries. Formerly employed at the European Commission's Directorate General for Competition in Brussels, he worked on State aid control.  Before joining the Commission, he worked in the private sector for more than 10 years, notably as a CEO of an SME. He is an engineer, lawyer and biologist by education.

As one of the pioneers of Lyocell, he helped establish closed-loop cellulose fibers as a viable and globally adopted alternative within the textile industry, combining technological innovation with market creation.

    Following his executive career at Lenzing AG, he founded Eichinger GmbH, advising CIRFS, BISFA, and international partners on fiber innovation, circular economy strategies, and implementation pathways. In 2025, he founded TexBoard®, a startup transforming textile waste into structural panel materials, extending circularity beyond fibers. He is a frequent keynote speaker and contributor to initiatives such as TRUSTEX, focusing on scalable circular textile systems.
